First SMP FREERIDE Workday

After 7 years, we have finally been given approval by the Parks Dept. to start building the Freeride/DJ area inside Shawnee Mission Park. This will be the first legal Freeride/DJ area of its type to built in the KC Metro area, and inside a Johnson County Park.

All that being said, we are having our first official workday Saturday, November 7th, 2009. We will work from 8:00 AM until around 12:00 PM. Bring any tools that you have (Pulaski’s, Shovels, McLeod’s, Pro Hoe’s, Loppers, Wheel Barrows, 5 Gal Buckets, etc). Meet at the marina parking lot. Bring plenty of water and your own protective clothing and gear.
