DD on the 16 and 17th

Gonna be down at the den camping and riding on the 16th and 17th. Yeah I know it's a Tuesday and Wednesday, but now that I don't have weekends off, gotta go when I can go.
My wife will be down there driving the shuttle for me and anyone else that wants to head down.

I haven't ridden my big bike since the DD race so i'm not sure that I will even remember how to, but i'm looking forward to it!

Planning on it as long as the weather holds out for me..... We are camping down there and on the reservation email I got from them it says we are at campsite 047??? I have no clue where that is.. We will prolly leave here around 7-8am on Tuesday and then we'll be heading back on Wed around 3 or 4pm.

The next two days are shaping up to be awesome. Partly cloudy, only 10% chance of rain, and a highs of 60+!!!!!! HELL YEAH!!!

How is the surgery healing up?

Good. I went up to PV for the first time last night. Didn't get too crazy. Kinda sketch still but I'll get over it. Thanks for asking.

Just got back from DD. The weather was PERFECT!!!!! sunny and 63 yesterday, overcast and 60 today. The trail is in decent condition actually, there were a ton of leaves on the lower part. I started to rake them only to find wetness, so I left them and just rode over them.

I forgot about it being spring break, so the park was packed!! Had some drunk college kids at the bottom that refused to move their cars from the finish line no matter how nice I asked. They had a bunch of rodent looking skulls strung up from the trees ( kinda weirded me out ) so I didn't press to hard. Then last night after I was done they moved the cars and put up tents right at the bottom, needless to say they were pissed when I came flying by at 8:30 this morning waking them and their dog up.

Anyways it was just nice to get back on the bike after almost 6 months off! Oh yeah I would have some pics and videos, but I broke my GoPro, so i'll have to check it out and see if the SD card is ok.
