hey guys, this is still a tough subject for me to talk about; and I'm going to be honest, this is written with a heavy tear in my eye..... but I was thinking about all my dad's stories he's told me over the years about racing, building hot rods, and just living life in the country back in the day. Some of my best memories of my dad, are of his stories he's told me a thousand times. I swear I could write a book about the old man's life based completely on his stories. Sometimes I'll even ask him to tell me one of my favorites just to hear it again....

I then started thinking about Riley and how he was probably too young to remember a lot about Scott before he passed away, and thought it might be nice for us to gather up a few of our favorite Scott stories and make a collection of them to give to the kids. I don't know if we could make a separate thread dedicated to that or what..... just throwing out an idea.

Can do and will do. I'll try to do this when I get home tonight...Unless Jared pops his head in and feels like doing it before then. :D

This is a great idea. I am sure that Jen will be more than pleased by this random act of kindness. Speaking of which... What's the possibility that we could go out and build Riley a small pump track back by the fire pit or something? With Jen's ok of course. That'll keep him riding. I am willing to bet that we could use the ERTA trailer for this if we approach one of the keepers.

Riley always loved going out back with Scott to ride his little bumps that Scott had built him. I am sure they are non-existent by now.

This is a great idea. It would be worthwhile to include the earthriders guys in this. Maybe post up a link on their board?

Also, I could help out with organizing and printing it in a book form.
